I started with this practice decades ago going to the wonderful Jeff Kennedy. Upon retirement Jeff hand picked Dr. Credle Harris to carry the dental office. Dr Harris has continued with Jeff’s legacy of thoroughness, kindness and excellence. Dr Harris then brought on Dr. Caroline Hamilton to practice with him. She is simply superlative in her professional expertise and personality!
I am enjoying the wide range of her dental services. She really makes “seeing your dentist” a pleasure. No review of this practice should neglect the high quality of the lovely individuals at the front desk and superb hygienist and assistant staff!
We’re lucky to have this excellent dental practice in Chapel Hill.

I’ve been going to Chapel Hill Dental Group for years and they are always great. I took my daughter for her first “grown-up” visit after graduating from a pediatric dentistry. She usually hates going to the dentist but Dr. Harris was amazing with her! He really connected with her and she had zero anxiety for the first time at the dentist. She was also very excited to use her new electric toothbrush! I highly recommend Chapel Hill Dental Group.

Love my dentist, Dr. Credle Harris! I have been coming to him for nearly 10 years and just had another great visit for routine care. Friendly staff, easy scheduling, early appts (7:00am), appt reminders, UpToDate technology and gentle hygienists. Never trying to sell you anything, just excellent dental care. Always shares a baggie of goodies too.

I’ve been a patient at Chapel Hill Dental Group for several years now and I can’t say enough good things about the care that I received there. The staff has always made me feel welcome from the front desk reception area to the dental chair. They always take the time to explain procedures, answer any questions I have, and make sure I’m comfortable with each step.

As professional and friendly a place that you’ll have the pleasure of visiting..and who knew who it would be at my dentists office. Dr. Harris and his team are awesome. Highly recommend.

Be aware that this place refuses to treat me without me consenting to do an X-ray. There is some risk involved with radiation and I refused to do yearly x-ray in the past. With previous owners it was never a problem.

They have the expertise one wants in a dental practice combined with the latest technology (warm water during the cleaning -thank you!). Dr. Harris was a breath of fresh air, very honest and experienced. He took great care with his work. His staffers were accommodating, friendly and empathetic while cleaning up my rather-tender gums during my crown appointment. The numbing was painless and I would not hesitate to return. Oh, and crowns are a one day affair, which was a big plus!! So far, the crowns fit perfectly and seem sturdy. Thank you Dr. Harris!

Everyone is so nice and welcoming from the minute I step in the door. It makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. The quality of the care is excellent, and Dr. Harris and staff take the time to listen to patients’ concerns. I had a dental emergency last year just before a major trip, and Dr Harris went out of his way to take care of it quickly and ensure that my trip would not be interrupted by dental problems.

Dr. Harris and office are incredible. He personally picked up my emergency call early Christmas morning – no other dentist (n=3) had any service on Christmas, let alone the main man. He is personable, knowledgeable, experienced. He followed up – on Christmas- researching pharmacies because my daughter was in pain. Then within 30 min of his office being open that week he had his team call to follow-up and schedule all further needed appointments and referrals. Unreal. I have gone to his office for years and years and loved it, but this was over the top. Thank you Dr. Harris and team!
