Dr. Vinay N Chirnalli, BDS, DMD, AAACD

Dr. Chirnalli has been in private practice since 2000. He practiced in New Hampshire starting for seven years and has been practicing in the triangle area since 2007.

He graduated with HIGH HONORS from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2000. Prior to that, while living in Bangalore, India he earned a Bachelor Degree of Dental Surgery in 1994. He was a clinical instructor for two years at Sharavathi Dental College, and he completed a one year internship as a Dental house surgeon.

Dr. Vinay Chirnalli is an accredited member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), which requires demonstrating a very high-level of clinical skill and ability in cosmetic dentistry and represents successful completion of the most rigorous peer-reviewed accreditation process in the field of cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Chirnalli is one of the 404 dentists in the world who have earned this prestigious designation. There are only 8 accredited members in North Carolina and Dr. Chirnalli one of the only two accredited dentist in whole triangle area by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

I can’t thank Apex Smiles enough for their caring, support and professionalism. We are visiting from out of town for the holidays and our daughter broke a tooth. My husband called Apex Smiles to see if we could get an emergency appointment. Liz answered the phone and got us on the schedule. She even helped navigate our insurance. Sam was lovely and did an amazing job keeping our terrified daughter calm. Dr. Chirnalli was patient and compassionate. What started as something that could have spoiled a few special days with family was only improved by our experience today as we walked out of the office all with smiles on our faces and gratitude in our hearts.

Dr. Chirnali changed my life! Seriously I suffer from a tremendous fear of dental offices due to childhood experiences. My husband and in laws had been seeing Dr. C for a few years and raved about him and I finally decided to go myself. From the second I walked in I was immediately taken care of. Dr. C was so comforting and really listened. The entire experience was incredible. Tammy my hygienist walked me through everything she was doing and she did alot by hand so I didn’t get worked up with the sounds of the machines. She was so gentle and kind.
Dr. C didn’t make me feel bad that it had been AWHILE since my last exam, he was so caring and put me at ease, that I was there now and that’s all that mattered. They brought me in a blanket to give me some coziness and I shiver when I’m nervous, and I thought that was beyond kind.
Dr. C is the only dentist I will see and I am transferring my kids to his office as well.
You know when people say you walk in somewhere and you feel like family. That’s the best way I can describe how I feel at Apex smiles.
I just left my 6 month cleaning and I feel the same way now as I did in November. So in closing, if you are a person who has debilitating fear please hear me when I say, you will not be sorry if you make an appt with Dr. C.

I was specifically looking for an AACD Accredited Cosmetic Dentist as I had had two veneers that I was unhappy with done by another dentist who also does cosmetic dentistry but is not accredited. That is how I first discovered Dr. Chirnalli. During my initial consult, he was empathetic but also direct and set realistic expectations especially given my tricky circumstance. The veneers I needed replaced were right in the front and not a shape or color that matched my other teeth/overall smile. He immediately saw my concerns with the current veneers and knew the result I was wanting. I’m a perfectionist and notice every detail with my teeth, so I absolutely needed a dentist with an artistic eye. Dr. Chirnalli’s intuitiveness and eye for detail gave me the confidence I needed to proceed. I am much happier with the result and feel comfortable smiling knowing the veneers look uniform with my other teeth!

I love My Apex Smile! After a referral from a popular Apex Dentist (retired), came to Dr. Chirnalli for a crown. After working with Dr. Chirnalli, I decided it was time to get my smile back! The process was relatively easy & done in a minimal number of visits. The entire team was great & I am enjoying my Apex Smile!

Where can I begin? I can honestly say I have been to at least 15 dentist on the east coast trying to get dental implants. For 3 years it has been a pure nightmare including faulty work. Thousand of dollars later I finally found Dr. Chirnalli! From the first visit and throughout I noticed his different techniques and professional approaches. He was patient and assuring through the entire process, he demanded perfection in his work and settled for no less. Now, I no longer have the horse smile and can speak clearly and feel confident again! I grew to love his entire staff, especially Sam and Jean. I’m going to miss seeing them, who can say that about a dentist? God’s speed with you always and Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
