We are a positive, upbeat dental practice that provides state of the art dentistry and excellent customer service to the growing population of Wake County in a way that makes coming to the dentist enjoyable. Since 2003 we have been a leader in quality dentistry and patient care and we believe that through dentistry we can change the world.
Our patients love how they feel like part of the family and trust our providers to partner with them in determining the best dental solutions for them and their family. In the end, we know it is our job to lend a caring ear that allows even our most anxious patients begin to trust the dentist again.
Dr. Allan Acton and his team care deeply about the health of their patients and they understand that excellent general dentistry will strengthen your family’s long term dental health and help to prevent a myriad of potential oral health problems. We work with patients from all over the Cary area, including Morrisville and Apex, NC.
Our Commitment
We are committed to keeping you informed in advance of your appointment, treatment options, and financial arrangements. We will work with you to plan appointments that accommodate your schedule. Occasionally procedures run longer than planned. If we are unable to seat you within 20 minutes of your appointed time, you may reschedule or receive a $25 credit to your account. We commit to respecting your finances as much as your health. If we over bill your account, we will correct the mistake and add an additional $25 credit to your account. We commit to notifying you of treatment options and financial investment in advance, including any impact to the financial arrangements if treatment plans change.
If we do not notify you in advance, the financial difference between your original treatment plan and the revised one will be at no charge to you. We keep all your dental records and health information strictly confidential. If you need your diagnostic records transferred, we will gladly send or make them available for pick up on the day of your request at no charge.
Expectations for Your First Visit
Thank you for choosing our office! Your first experience in our office will be something special, as you are special to us. When you arrive you will be welcomed by one of our amazing administrative team members. You will be offered a tour of our practice and you will receive a special gift. You will be seated in our lovely reception area that has water, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. We offer free Wi-Fi while you wait for the start of your appointment.
One of our wonderful clinical team members will escort you to one of our comfortable clinical rooms. We have a comfort menu to make your stay with us even more enjoyable. If you need anything during your appointment please do not hesitate to ask. Everyone is here to make your visit the best you have ever had.
Saturday Appointments
For your convenience, we are open almost every Saturday throughout the year from 8am to 3pm. As insurance companies are typically closed on Saturdays, it is very important to fill out your new patient online forms 24 to 48 hours in advance of your appointment. This will allow us to verify your insurance coverage before your visit. If you are unable to fill out the forms before your scheduled appointment and we are unable to verify your insurance coverage, we ask that your first visit be paid in full at the time services are rendered. We will file your claim for you and your insurance will reimburse you directly.
When making your Saturday appointment, please be committed to this appointment as Saturdays are a very popular time to book. We have patients waiting for these treasured appointments each week. We understand that you may be unable to keep your appointment. If an emergency arises, please call our office as soon as possible so we can offer your appointment to another patient. If you cancel or reschedule in less than 48 hours, you may be subject to our cancellation guidelines.

I had a great experience at Cary Family Dental From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed. Malorie Sloan, my dental assistant was very friendly, thorough and made sure I was comfortable while doing my x-rays and polishing my teeth. Fanta Edwards, my hygienist was very friendly and did an amazing job cleaning my teeth with detail and a gentle touch. Dr. Davis was professional, thorough and listened to my concerns. Already looking forward to my next appointment.

Ana was amazing today. She was calm and assured me that I would be okay during my teeth cleaning and my teeth have never looked better. No pain, and I was so relieved after a painful cleaning years ago.
Dr. W is amazing as well. He is genuine, thorough, and a good human.
The staff are friendly, timely, and on point. The office is modern, clean, and in a great location.
This practice blew me away so much that I have already referred them to clients and friends.

As somebody who has a lot of anxiety, quality of care is super important to me. Liz and Dr. Madden were amazing. They did everything they could to make sure I felt comfortable, asked questions, and checked in with me throughout the process. The front were polite and welcoming. I highly recommend them.

I have always experienced dental anxiety, even as an adult. However, my experience at this practice has completely changed my perspective. Following several procedures, including extractions, I no longer feel apprehensive about visiting the dentist. The staff consistently demonstrate professionalism and courtesy, and I always feel comfortable requesting a break during treatment if needed. I highly recommend this practice.

You can’t beat the staff at Cary Family Dental. Fanta is the best dental hygienist I’ve seen in 20+ years — great cleanings, quick, personable, and doesn’t make you want to avoid the dentist for years. Dr. Wooten and the reception staff were friendly, professional, and super helpful with all of my questions. They’ve managed to turn going to the dentist into a pleasant experience, which is much easier said than done.

I would highly recommend this dental office. The staff is very friendly. My dental hygienist, Karen, was amazing! She took great care of me. I get anxiety when I go to the dentist and she helped ease my mind and made me feel comfortable the whole time.

This office is very personable and make you feel so welcomed. I enjoyed my experience with them! Nice and clean, and did I mention how high-tech they are with Tv’s in the ceiling to watch while you are getting your services done! Liz has a gentle hand and explained everything throughout my appointment! Dr. Madden is also a gem very knowledgeable and I appreciate her taking the time to answer my questions making me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend this office 10/10!!
