I appreciate Dr Vanyo’s extensive knowledge and experience. Just had a crown (from another DDS from 40 years ago) reattached and he took time to polish it to improve the fit.
His staff is equally as knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this practice. -
Local non chain family dentistry. Dr Vanyo is great and very patient with kids. We also love that he feels strongly about the overuse of X-rays in small children.
His receptionists and his technicians are also awesome.

What an awesome experience I had with Karen the dental hygienist and Dr. Stephen Vanyo the Dentist. I have tried a variety of dental hygienists and Dentists within the Triangle Area, but I must admit I have finally found the Hidden jewels of the dental world. My teeth felt so clean and pampered that I could not stop smiling. Then entered Dr. Vanyo who gently but thoroughly performed an Oral Cancer Screening. For these reasons, I would highly recommend this dental practice to everyone that I meet, especially when they say you have a beautiful smile.

Dr. Vanyo and his staff are absolutely fantastic. As someone who neglected going to the dentist for years due to anxiety and financial struggles, I could not be more relieved to have found Dr. Vanyo. Initially, I went to a different dentist’s office in Chapel Hill and they wanted to do multiple crowns and other various procedures that I didn’t catch because I had blacked out at the price they quoted me. I sought a second opinion with Dr. Vanyo and I knew I made the right decision. He is more conservative with his approach to care, saving me thousands of dollars and untold amounts of anxiety all while addressing my problems and helping get my teeth in the best shape possible. He is clearly a seasoned professional, some fillings taking less than 30 minutes with absolutely no pain or misery. Besides Dr. Vanyo’s expertise and reassuring demeanor, his staff are all excellent, kind, and a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend Dr. Vanyo and his staff enough! 10/5 stars, would let him drill my teeth again and again.

We’ve been seeing Dr. Vanyo for nearly 8 years and have always been pleased. He is kind and knowledgeable and always has time for questions and concerns. He advises but does not pressure you. He has seen our daughters since they first began going to the dentist, and he’s fantastic with them. He explains everything and always makes sure they’re comfortable with each step before proceeding. I highly recommend Dr. Vanyo.
